Summary

Participants will receive helpful knowledge and resources for the completion of an acceptable plan of correction. Accurate, complete, and comprehensive plans of correction will help an organization meet the federal and state requirements for skilled nursing facilities.

Workshop objectives:
• Learn the federal Requirements of Participation for responding to a statement of deficiencies (form 2567)
• Understand the core elements required by CMS for a detailed and acceptable plan of correction
• Describe a systematic approach to create and implement a plan of correction
• identify one actionable step to improve your facility’s plans of correction
