Care Providers of Minnesota
Being a nurse in an assisted living setting or community home care is very different from a skilled nursing facility, hospital, or clinic setting—one may be the only nurse and supervising numerous unlicensed staff. This session will explore the diagnosis and management of common medical problems found in assisted living settings, including urinary tract infection, and fever/infection. In addition, the session will present key elements of a complete nursing assessment, identify “red flags” requiring assessments, and discuss interventions after assessments.Expand summary
