Summary

PDPM is coming to MN: Are you ready? Minnesota rolls out PDPM on October 1, 2025. Get up to speed on key MDS changes, what they mean for reimbursement, and how to prepare for a smooth, accurate transition. Don’t miss this essential update!

Minnesota Medicaid will implement the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) effective October 1, 2025. The optional state assessment, introduced in October 2023, was established to facilitate a seamless and budget-neutral transition to the PDPM framework. Providers are encouraged to engage in comprehensive preparation to ensure a successful transition. While the number of changes to the MDS is moderate, it remains essential that all data be reported with the utmost accuracy. Please plan to attend this session, which will provide detailed information on changes to the MDS, their implications for Medicaid reimbursement, and strategies to prepare for implementation on October 1, 2025.
